 WELCOME TO GENETIC SEXUAL ATTRACTION

This website was started with the hope of education and support on a subject that to most is:
1. misunderstood
2. shocking
3. to some unbelievable
4.taboo to society.
The website is meant to help those who are victims of separation and reunion of blood family members and who are unable to understand what they are feeling.
We are here to educate through others experience and to help you understand what GSA is or is not.
Communication with each other, to share as a support system what you are experiencing can be very helpful. This is the reason I continue the GSA site.
However, GSA is- NOT an incest site as we have always understood the subject of incest
- NOT a place to fantasize
- NOT for incest victims of childhood abuse or their abusers
- Not a porn site
Although it is hard to separate categories for some as they don't understand what GSA is and think they can link on here, I ask that they find another place for their stories.
GSA needs their own place to help and support others as they support each other. It is difficult to get through feelings of abandonment, loss and reunions.
So PLEASE do not post any other topics than "Reunited people, through adoption or divorce, separation or loss of contact with a blood relative.
All others need to go elsewhere to find what you are looking for because this is not your category.

Dear All,
I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Isla Harvey and I am a journalist working in NYC for an international press agency. We provide news and feature articles for magazines and newspapers. We also make documentaries for National Geographic, TLC, Discovery, Channel 4, the BBC and ITV. We are currently making a series of thought-provoking programmes for TLC.
I am researching the subject of Genetic Sexual Attraction for our next film and would like to find two to five articulate people to candidly describe their feelings on camera. We aim to explore how GSA happens, what effects it has on people, how they learn to live with it, and the experiences they have.
The aim is to produce a sensitive and non-judgemental documentary that will enlighten the general public and also help people who experience GSA to find others who can give them guidance and support. We plan to speak to support group leaders, trusted medical experts and counsellors as part of the film. The project would be accompanied by some print articles and you would be compensated for your time.*
Anyone who participates will be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy.

Nicole Precel the young Australian film maker commissioned to do a Documentary on Al Gores media network has just returned from a successful trip to the UK where she spent time interviewing some of our members.
Nicole has become passionate about bringing our plight into the public arena and hopes to assist us in gaining the interest of mental health professionals and researchers to further understand this phenomena.
I would ask ALL of us, to please contribute by helping her help us and filling in the survey below.

I know I have mentioned this before and still think there is a big need for significant others to tell there story and have support. I would appreciate contacts by email if anyone is interested in sharing their stories for a possible book or for their stories to be put on the website to help others.
